Today, enjoy a full-day city tour of Shenzhen. Begin with the Shenzhen Museum, which showcases the history, culture, archaeology, art, and technology of Shenzhen and the surrounding region. Next, visit OCT-LOFT Creative Culture Park, a vibrant hub featuring galleries, studios, and shops selling locally made crafts and artwork. The Dafen Oil Painting Village is a must-visit — a celebrated destination known for its many art galleries and studios where you can admire and purchase a wide variety of original paintings and artwork. Continue to Shenzhen Bay Park, offering scenic views of the city skyline along with walking and cycling paths, picnic areas, and playgrounds.
In the afternoon, visit the world-famous Window of the World theme park, home to over 130 miniature replicas of iconic global landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China, the Pyramids of Giza, the Statue of Liberty, and many more. Covering approximately 48 hectares, the park is divided into eight themed sections representing regions such as Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. In addition to the miniature exhibits, the park features exciting rides and attractions, including a roller coaster, a log flume ride, and a 4D cinema, along with numerous restaurants, souvenir shops, and other amenities throughout. Check out of the hotel and proceed to Shenzhen Bay Port Bus Terminal to board a bus to Hong Kong. The bus travels through the city streets of Shenzhen, reaching the border checkpoint where you will disembark to clear immigration and customs. Once formalities are complete, board the bus again and continue the journey to Hong Kong via highways and expressways, passing through various districts with views of the city skyline, countryside, and waterways.
On arrival in Hong Kong, check in to your hotel. In the evening, pass through the Harbour Tunnel, which connects Hong Kong Island and Kowloon under Victoria Harbour, to reach the Sky Terrace — the breathtaking observation deck on the 100th floor of the International Commerce Centre (ICC) building. Enjoy stunning 360-degree views of the city skyline and Victoria Harbour.
Next, board the historic Star Ferry for a scenic cruise between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, with beautiful views of the city from the water. Visit the Clock Tower, one of the few remaining structures from the original Kowloon-Canton Railway terminus, located on the southern shore of Tsim Sha Tsui — a popular spot for photography and architecture admiration. Drive across the iconic Tsing Ma Bridge — a remarkable feat of engineering, designed to withstand strong winds, typhoons, and earthquakes — to reach Lantau Island.
On arrival at Lantau Island, board the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car, which offers breathtaking aerial views of the island, the sea, and the traditional Tai O Fishing Village, known for its charming stilt houses and fresh seafood. Proceed to visit the magnificent Tian Tan Buddha (the Big Buddha) — a large bronze statue of Buddha Shakyamuni seated on a lotus throne atop a hill. Climb the 268-step staircase to the base of the statue and enjoy panoramic views of the island and the surrounding sea. Nearby, visit the Po Lin Monastery, a beautiful Buddhist monastery featuring traditional Chinese architecture, well-tended gardens, and a vegetarian restaurant serving delicious meals.
Later, visit the Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery (Man Fat Tsz), which despite its name actually houses over 12,800 Buddha statues across its hillside complex. Climb the steep staircase flanked by more than 500 golden Buddha statues to reach the main temple hall, which features a large central Buddha statue along with smaller statues and religious relics. The hall is particularly impressive for its towering roof, ornate carvings, and gilded Buddhas. Also explore the nine-story pagoda, which offers wonderful views of the surrounding area. Visit the Statue of the Goddess of Mercy (Kun Iam Statue), a prominent bronze landmark dedicated to the Buddhist Goddess Guan Yin, known for her compassion and mercy. Climb to the pedestal of the statue for panoramic views of the harbour. Next, visit St. Paul's Cathedral (Ruins of St. Paul's) — the impressive facade of a 17th-century church that was once one of the largest Catholic churches in Asia, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site adorned with intricate carvings and sculptures.
