This 11-day Scotland with England tour is an exceptional journey through two of Britain's most exciting and contrasting destinations. You begin in Edinburgh, Scotland's historic capital, with a visit to the iconic Edinburgh Castle on Castle Rock, the Palace of Holyroodhouse on the Royal Mile, and a day excursion to Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle, and the giant Kelpies horse sculptures. From Edinburgh, travel by train to Inverness, the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, for two nights. A full day takes you through the dramatic Scottish Highlands landscape, along the shores of the legendary Loch Ness, past the historic Culloden Battlefield, and through the charming streets and waterways of Inverness itself. You then travel by train to vibrant Glasgow, Scotland's cultural capital, for the Glasgow Cathedral, Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Riverside Museum, and Glasgow Science Centre, before continuing by train to the stunning Lake District in England.

The loch stretches for approximately 23 miles and is incredibly deep. There is an option to take boat tours to explore the loch and visit the Loch Ness Centre and Exhibition to learn about the legend and enjoy the scenic beauty of the surrounding area. Visit the Culloden Battlefield, a significant historical site where the final battle of the Jacobite Rising took place in 1746. The Jacobites, led by Bonnie Prince Charlie, were defeated here by British government forces. The battlefield is now a memorial centre offering an insight into the conflict and its lasting impact on Scottish history.
Explore Inverness on foot, including Castle Street, a historic street leading up to Inverness Castle, lined with shops, cafes, and restaurants. Explore London with a full day city tour. Begin with the Tower of London, a historic castle and fortress with a long and fascinating history, having served as a Royal Palace, prison, and place of execution over the centuries. Today it is a popular museum where you can view important artefacts from the Crown Jewels collection. Key pieces include St. Edward's Crown, the oldest and most important Crown Jewel, first made for the Coronation of King Charles II and made of gold set with diamonds, emeralds, sapphires, and other precious stones. Also see the Imperial State Crown, worn by the Monarch on important state occasions such as the State Opening of Parliament, set with thousands of diamonds, pearls, and precious stones and topped with the famous Koh-I-Noor Diamond, a 106-carat diamond originally mined in India that is now set into the Queen Mother's Crown.
