After breakfast, proceed to Jerash - one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world, renowned for its magnificent Oval Plaza, colonnaded streets, temples, and churches.
Begin at the striking Oval Plaza, a large open space enclosed by a ring of columns that once served as the social and political heart of the ancient city. The castle is perched on a hilltop overlooking the surrounding countryside, offering commanding strategic views of the landscape. It features a series of towers, walls, and battlements, along with a moat and drawbridge, and was deliberately designed to be easily defended, with narrow passages and steep stairways that made it extremely difficult for attackers to breach. After breakfast and check-out, transfer towards the Dead Sea with scenic stops along the way.
First, visit Madaba, best known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, which are among the finest examples of ancient art in the Middle East. The most famous is the 6th-century Mosaic Map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land, discovered in the 19th century and now housed in the Church of St. George. Covering an area of 15 square metres, this extraordinary map depicts the Holy Land as it appeared in the 6th century AD, including Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, the Jordan River, and other important biblical sites. Madaba is also home to numerous other impressive mosaics found in churches, mosques, and private homes throughout the town - depicting biblical stories, animals, and intricate geometric patterns in vivid colours. Explore the Madaba Archaeological Museum, which houses a fascinating collection of ancient artefacts and mosaics.

Dead Sea Float · Masada · Qumran Caves · Petra: The Treasury, Amphitheatre & Monastery
The Dead Sea is renowned for its extraordinarily high salt content - almost ten times saltier than the world's oceans - which makes it nearly impossible for most forms of marine life to survive in its waters, giving rise to its iconic name. This remarkable salinity creates natural buoyancy, allowing visitors to float effortlessly on the surface. The area is also home to numerous spas, resorts, and archaeological sites. Explore the ancient ruins of Masada, a mountaintop fortress built by King Herod, or visit the Qumran Caves, where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in the 20th century.
After check-out, transfer south to Petra - an ancient city originally built by the Nabataeans, a nomadic Arab tribe, that grew into a major centre of trade and commerce during the Hellenistic and Roman periods. On arrival, begin exploring this extraordinary city, renowned for its collection of more than 800 monuments - including tombs, temples, and remarkable structures carved directly into the rock formations. One of the most iconic of these is the Treasury (Al-Khazneh), a stunning building with intricate carvings and an ornate façade that served as a royal tomb for a Nabataean king.
Other notable monuments include the impressive 8,000-Seat Amphitheatre, used for public events and performances, and the hilltop Monastery (Ad-Deir), a grand temple overlooking the entire city. Walk through the narrow, winding Siq - a breathtaking natural gorge that serves as the dramatic entrance to the heart of the city - and admire the many other remarkable structures and landmarks that define this landscape. Petra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is widely considered one of the world's most awe-inspiring archaeological destinations. Overnight in Petra.
