Your Tbilisi day begins when you meet your driver at the hotel and start exploring the capital's rich history, culture, and iconic landmarks. First, visit the Chronicles of Georgia, one of Tbilisi's most impressive monuments. Overlooking the Tbilisi Sea, the massive pillars depict important scenes from Georgian history and Christianity while offering spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Continue to Old Tbilisi and explore its charming narrow streets and colourful balconies. Visit Metekhi Church, perched above the Mtkvari River, and admire the monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the founder of Tbilisi. Walk through Rike Park and cross the modern Bridge of Peace. Next, take the cable car to Narikala Fortress and enjoy breathtaking views over the city. Visit the Mother of Georgia statue, symbolizing the country's hospitality and strength, then descend through Abanotubani, the historic sulfur bath district, pass the city's only mosque, and stroll around the lively Meidan Square, filled with cafés, wine bars, and souvenir shops.
Later, head to Mtatsminda Park via the funicular railway. Meet your driver at the hotel lobby and start your journey north along the famous Georgian Military Highway, heading toward the border with Russia. Stop at the Jinvali Water Reservoir, a large lake created during the Soviet era, and take some time to enjoy the views before continuing toward the Ananuri complex.
Arrive at the Ananuri complex, a historic fortress and former residence of the Argveti Dukes. The complex sits beautifully above the Jinvali Reservoir and includes churches and towers from the 16th and 17th centuries. Explore two churches, including the older one, built in 1689, with carvings of grapes and crosses that reflect Georgia's rich culture. Continue your drive to see the meeting point of two mountain rivers, famous for keeping their different colours even after they merge, and taste fresh mineral water from the mountain springs in Mleta.
Arrive at Gudauri and enjoy this mountain town. Drive over the Cross Pass and stop at the Soviet-era "People's Friendship" viewpoint for spectacular views of the deep Caucasus gorges. Reach Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) and switch to a 4x4 vehicle to drive up to Gergeti Holy Trinity Church. From here, enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kazbegi and the surrounding mountains. Arrive at the spectacular Prometheus Cave, one of Georgia's most famous natural attractions, located near Kutaisi. This impressive underground cave system features 22 halls, with 6 halls open for visitors. Follow the illuminated 1,420-metre walking path and explore the fascinating underground world filled with breathtaking stalactites, stalagmites, stone formations, and naturally created chambers.
Continue your journey to the stunning Martvili Canyon, a hidden natural paradise surrounded by lush greenery and crystal-clear waters. The canyon stretches approximately 2,400 metres in length and reaches 20–40 metres in depth, featuring a beautiful 12-metre waterfall flowing between dramatic limestone cliffs. During your visit, explore the walking trails and viewpoints offering spectacular views of the canyon's turquoise waters, small waterfalls, and untouched nature. The area is also rich in history and archaeology, with fossil remains of prehistoric animals and traces of early human life discovered in nearby grottoes. Once used as a bathing place by the royal Dadiani family, Martvili Canyon is now one of Georgia's most popular eco-tourism destinations. Established in 1912 by the prominent botanist and geographer Andrey Krasnov, the garden spans 111 hectares and contains flora from nine phyto-geographic areas. You will spend about an hour here.
Continue to Batumi city for a local tour. Batumi is the largest city of the region — its outstanding architecture, statues, palm trees, nature resorts, amusement parks, unique and stylish cafés, pubs, bars, and nightclubs create an amazing atmosphere throughout the city. The places you will visit include Europe Square, where decorative, historical, and modern buildings come together as one; the Alphabetic Tower, a 130-metre-high modern steel sculpture shaped as a DNA molecule and depicting the unique Georgian alphabet; the sculpture of Ali and Nino, portraying the love story of young people from different cultural and religious backgrounds; the Batumi Ferris Wheel, offering a panoramic view of the whole city, decorated with numerous light patterns illuminated at night; and Piazza, located in the historical district of the city, where narrow cobblestone streets are lined with local cafés, pubs, and bars. You will spend about 4 hours here, including lunch time.
