This 13-day tour through Central Europe and the UK is one of Anjali Travels' most varied and exciting itineraries. Beginning in Munich, Germany, you visit the famous Hofbräuhaus beer hall, the iconic Glockenspiel clock tower, and the Bavarian State Opera. The tour then moves into Austria with two nights covering Salzburg's UNESCO Old Town, Mozart's birthplace on Getreide Gasse, the Sound of Music filming locations at Mirabell Gardens, Salzburg Cathedral, and the Residenz Fountain, followed by Innsbruck via the spectacular Swarovski Crystal World, the Golden Roof, the Hofburg Imperial Palace, and the Bergisel Ski Jump designed by Zaha Hadid.
Crossing into Switzerland, you pass through Vaduz in Liechtenstein for a tram ride past the Prince's Castle, then stop at Lake Zurich and the Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen before three nights in Lucerne. A full day covers the Jungfraujoch (the Top of Europe at 3,454 metres), Trummelbach Falls, and free time in Interlaken. Another day takes you to the summit of Mt. Titlis on the world's first revolving cable car, followed by the Lion Monument, Chapel Bridge, and a cruise on Lake Lucerne. En route to Paris, stop in Geneva for the Jet d'Eau Fountain, the Flower Clock, and the Palais des Nations, then board the TGV high-speed train to Paris.
Three nights in Paris include a full day at Euro Disney, a city tour covering the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Elysees, the Seine River Cruise, the Eiffel Tower (top floor), and the Louvre Museum, and an evening at the Lido Show. Arrive at Munich International Airport. After baggage collection, proceed to visit Munich, often called the "Beer Capital" of Germany due to its long history of brewing and its famous beer festivals, including the world-renowned Oktoberfest. Visit the Hofbrauhaus, the most famous beer hall in Munich, founded in 1589 by Wilhelm V, Duke of Bavaria and an iconic part of the city's culture for over 400 years. The beer hall seats up to 1,300 guests at a time and features live music and entertainment, creating a festive Bavarian atmosphere. Visit the Glockenspiel (Clock Tower) at the New Town Hall in Marienplatz, built in the late 19th century in the Gothic Revival style. The Glockenspiel features 32 life-sized figures operated by a mechanical clockwork system: an upper level with knights on horseback representing the wedding procession of Duke Wilhelm V, and a lower level featuring the dance of the Bavarian Coopers. The 43 bells play music as the figures move, creating a colourful spectacle. Visit the Bavarian State Opera House, originally constructed in 1818 and one of Germany's most important cultural institutions. The Opera House features opera, ballet, and classical music concerts, with a seating capacity of over 2,000, impressive Neoclassical architecture, and is home to the world-renowned Bavarian State Orchestra. After breakfast and check-out, proceed to Salzburg, located on the banks of the Salzach River near the German border. Salzburg is famous for its Baroque architecture and its Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Salzburg is also the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
On arrival, walk through Salzburg Cathedral (Salzburger Dom), a Baroque-style cathedral with an impressive nave, ceiling frescoes, ornate chapels, and a High Altar considered one of the finest examples of Baroque art. Visit the Residenz Fountain, a Baroque fountain in front of the Residenz Palace featuring a central sculpture of the horse-taming Triton surrounded by four cherubs representing the four elements. Walk across the Makartsteg Bridge (known as the "Bridge of Love") over the Salzach River. Walk down Getreidegasse, the famous narrow street in central Salzburg known for its Baroque architecture and boutique shops, including Mozart's birthplace at No. 9, now a museum dedicated to the composer's life and work. Also see Goldgasse and Felsenreitschule. Walk through Linzer Gasse, a lively street connecting the Altstadt to the Neustadt.
Visit Mirabell Gardens, designed in the Baroque style by a prince-archbishop, filled with ornamental trees, flowerbeds, sculptures, and fountains offering stunning views of the Hohensalzburg Fortress. After breakfast and check-out, drive to Wattens to visit the Swarovski Crystal World (Swarovski Kristallwelten). The most popular attraction is the Chamber of Wonder, a vast underground exhibition space featuring crystal artworks and installations, with exhibits including the Crystal Tree, Crystalised Jungle, and Crystal Cave. Also enjoy the Crystal Cloud, an outdoor installation of 800,000 hand-mounted Swarovski crystals suspended above a black mirrored pool. Other attractions include the Crystal Dome, Crystal Forest, and the "Giant" entrance sculpture. A gift shop offers jewellery, home decor, figurines, and accessories.
Arrive Innsbruck, the capital of the state of Tyrol. Walk over Innbrucke Bridge across the Inn River for views of the surrounding mountains. Visit the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl), built in the early 15th century by Emperor Maximilian I, featuring 2,600 gold-plated copper tiles. Today it is a museum on the history of the building and the life of the Emperor. Visit the Hofburg Imperial Palace, the former residence of the Habsburgs, now a museum showcasing the Imperial Apartments and collections of art and artefacts from the imperial period.
Walk along Maria Theresien Strasse, lined with shops, restaurants, and cafes, and home to the Triumphal Arch and the Annasaule column. Visit the Bergisel Ski Jump, designed by world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid. The 50-metre tower has a viewing platform with spectacular views of the mountains and the city, accessible by elevator. After breakfast and check-out, drive towards Zurich passing through Vaduz, the capital of the small principality of Liechtenstein. Explore the old town by City Tram Ride, passing notable attractions including Vaduz Castle (the official residence of the Prince of Liechtenstein), the Parliament Building, and the Liechtenstein National Museum.
Continue to Zurich, situated on the shores of Lake Zurich, known for its excellent public transport, vibrant nightlife, and shopping. Lake Zurich is a picturesque 40-km-long lake surrounded by mountain scenery. Proceed to Schaffhausen on the banks of the Rhine River. Experience the Rhine Falls on a 15-20-minute Boat Ride through the rapids to view the falls up close. Continue to Lucerne. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight in Lucerne.

Visit Trummelbach Falls, ten glacier-fed waterfalls situated inside a mountain, reached by a short walk from Lauterbrunnen. They are the only glacier waterfalls in Europe accessible underground and are protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Proceed to the "Top of Europe" - Jungfraujoch, at 3,454 metres (11,332 feet) between the peaks of Jungfrau and Monch. Board the Jungfrau Railway from Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen, halting at Kleine Scheidegg for views of the surrounding mountains and Eiger North Face, then board the Cogwheel Train to the summit. Explore the Sphinx Observatory at 3,571 metres with panoramic views of the Alps and the Aletsch Glacier (the largest in the Alps), the Ice Palace with its tunnels and ice sculptures, and hiking trails. Enjoy free time in Interlaken, a scenic town between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, popular for shopping for Swiss chocolates, watches, and souvenirs. Overnight in Lucerne.

Proceed to the Alpine village of Engelberg. Board the Titlis Rotair, the world's first revolving cable car, which rotates 360 degrees during the ascent to the summit of Mt. Titlis, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. At the summit, enjoy the Cliff Walk suspension bridge, a ride on the Ice Flyer chairlift across the glacier, and Snow Sliding options including snow tubing, snow rafting, and snowshoeing.
In the afternoon, return to Lucerne to visit the Lion Monument, a famous sculpture designed by Danish sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen and carved into a sandstone cliff, created in memory of the Swiss Guards massacred during the French Revolution. Walk across the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrucke), the oldest landmark in Lucerne, decorated with historical paintings under its roof. Enjoy a 1-hour Cruise on Lake Lucerne (Lake Vierwaldstattersee), one of the largest lakes in Switzerland. Overnight in Lucerne.

After breakfast and check-out, transfer to Geneva, headquarters of the United Nations and the International Red Cross. Visit Lake Geneva, popular for its clear waters and water sports. See the Jet d'Eau Fountain, a symbol of Geneva, shooting 500 litres of water per second into the air at 200 km/h and spectacular when lit up at night. Visit the Flower Clock at the Jardin Anglais, a 5-metre-diameter clock made entirely of flowers and plants, changed every season.
Visit the Palais des Nations (UN Building), the European headquarters of the United Nations, housing various UN agencies including the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and UNCTAD, known for its impressive architecture and art collection. Pass by the ICRC Building and visit the WHO Building. See the famous Broken Chair (Wooden Chair), a 12-metre-high sculpture with a broken leg symbolising opposition to landmines and cluster bombs, located in front of the Palais des Nations. Transfer to Geneva station to board the TGV high-speed train to Paris. Arrive at Gare de Lyon station and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Paris.

Walt Disney Studios Park areas include Toon Studio (Ratatouille: The Adventure, Crush's Coaster), Production Courtyard (Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Studio Tram Tour), Backlot (Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Moteurs. Visit the London Eye (Millennium Wheel), a giant Ferris wheel standing 135 meters tall with 32 air-conditioned capsules.
