After breakfast and check-out, drive to Venice, a city unlike any other in the world, known for its beautiful canals, stunning architecture, and rich cultural history. Built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea, Venice is connected entirely by a network of bridges and canals.
Board a Vaporetto (water bus) to reach Venice Island, admiring the stunning architecture of buildings, bridges, and churches lining the canals along the way. On arrival, walk through the city and explore St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco), the largest and most famous public square in Venice. The most striking feature of the square is St. Mark's Basilica (Basilica di San Marco), a magnificent cathedral with five domes and intricate Byzantine-style mosaics, built to house the relics of St. Mark, which were brought to Venice from Alexandria. Also visit the Doge's Palace, a stunning Gothic-style palace that served as the residence of the Doge of Venice and the seat of the Venetian Government, now a museum housing a rich collection of art and artefacts. The Campanile (Bell Tower) at the edge of the square was used as a lookout post for fires and emergencies; climb to the top for panoramic views of Venice and its surrounding islands. The Procuratie Vecchie and Nuove, the two long buildings running along either side of the square, originally served as offices for government officials and now house shops, cafes, and restaurants.
Take a Gondola Ride to see Venice from a unique perspective, gliding past historic palaces, ancient bridges, and picturesque alleyways. Visit the Bridge of Sighs, a white limestone bridge spanning a narrow canal, built to connect the Doge's Palace to the nearby prison. Legend has it that prisoners would sigh as they crossed the bridge on their way to their cells, catching their last glimpse of Venice through the small windows. Visit the Rialto Bridge, the oldest of the four bridges crossing the Grand Canal, known for its distinctive arches and the shops lining its sides, with stunning views of the Grand Canal from the bridge. Visit a traditional Glass Factory, where highly skilled artisans produce high-quality glassware including vases, bowls, and chandeliers using techniques passed down through generations. Watch the glassmaking process from start to finish and visit the showroom where handmade glassware is available for purchase. Continue the journey to Padova. On arrival, check in to your hotel. After breakfast and check-out, proceed to Modena, a historic city known for its rich culinary traditions, beautiful architecture, and its important role as a centre of Italy's automotive industry. A famous landmark is the Romanesque Cathedral of Modena (Duomo di Modena), a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its beautiful facade and the impressive Ghirlandina Tower, which stands beside the cathedral and is one of the city's most recognised symbols. Modena is also home to the Ferrari Museum, dedicated to the legendary Italian carmaker Enzo Ferrari. The museum features a collection of vintage cars, race cars, and concept cars. Visit the Hall of Victories, which displays trophies, photographs, and memorabilia from Ferrari's celebrated racing history.
Continue to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, a city whose buildings and landmarks reflect one of the most extraordinary periods in human history. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight in Florence.

After breakfast and check-out, begin with Florence sightseeing. Visit Piazzale Michelangelo, a scenic square situated on a hill offering panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. Designed by architect Giuseppe Poggi and named after the great Renaissance artist Michelangelo Buonarroti, the square is home to a bronze replica of Michelangelo's David Statue, created to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the artist's birth, alongside sculptures of other famous Florentine artists including Leonardo da Vinci and Galileo Galilei.
Visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo), known for its Italian Gothic architecture and the distinctive red dome designed by Filippo Brunelleschi, with an impressive facade decorated in pink, green, and white marble. Walk across the Ponte Vecchio, the historic bridge spanning the Arno River, famous for the shops built directly into the bridge structure. Visit the Uffizi Gallery, one of the oldest and most famous art museums in the world, home to an extensive collection of Renaissance and Baroque art including masterpieces by Botticelli, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci. The museum is housed in a beautiful building originally constructed as the administrative offices of the powerful Medici family.
Proceed to Pisa, a city in the Tuscany region of central Italy. On arrival, visit the Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli), a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring four great buildings: the Cathedral, the Baptistry, the Camposanto Cemetery, and the Leaning Tower. The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta is a stunning example of Romanesque architecture featuring beautiful marble detailing, intricate exterior carvings and sculptures, and an impressive interior with stunning frescoes, mosaics, and a beautifully carved pulpit. The Baptistry is a circular building featuring intricate Gothic and Romanesque design elements, with marble columns and arches on the exterior and a stunning pulpit and unique acoustical dome inside. The Camposanto Monumentale is a large cemetery featuring a cloistered courtyard surrounded by arcades filled with important tombs and frescoes, some of the most significant in Italy, depicting scenes from the Bible. The Leaning Tower, the most famous attraction on the Square of Miracles, is known worldwide for its distinctive lean caused by poor foundations during construction. Made of white marble and standing 56 metres tall, it leans at an angle of approximately 4 degrees. Later, transfer to Rome, the capital of Italy and one of the most historically and culturally rich cities in the world, famous for its ancient ruins, beautiful architecture, stunning piazzas, fountains, and parks. Proceed to Vatican City, an independent city-state and the smallest sovereign state in the world both in terms of size and population. Vatican City is the residence of the Pope and the spiritual and governing centre of the Roman Catholic Church, home to priceless works of art, historical artefacts, its own unique flag, anthem, and postal service.
Visit the Vatican Museums, home to some of the most iconic works of art in human history. The most famous of these is the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, painted by Michelangelo and featuring scenes from the Book of Genesis, including the celebrated Creation of Adam panel. The ceiling is a masterpiece of Renaissance art and is considered one of the greatest artistic achievements of all time. The Sistine Chapel is also home to Michelangelo's monumental Last Judgment fresco, which covers the entire altar wall and depicts the second coming of Christ and the final judgment of all humanity. The Raphael Rooms are another important section of the Vatican Museums, featuring a series of frescoes painted by the famous Italian Renaissance artist Raphael.
Visit St. Peter's Basilica, one of the most famous and largest churches in the world and one of the holiest Catholic shrines. The Basilica is built over the tomb of Saint Peter, one of the twelve Apostles of Jesus, and is the burial site of many popes throughout history. Designed by some of the most celebrated artists and architects of the Renaissance, including Michelangelo, Bramante, and Bernini, the Basilica features the magnificent Dome, one of the largest in the world and a defining feature of Rome's skyline. See Michelangelo's "Pieta," depicting the body of Christ cradled in the arms of the Virgin Mary, as well as numerous chapels and altars each with their own unique artistic and historical significance. Proceed to Naples, the capital of the Campania region and the third-largest city in Italy after Rome and Milan. The iconic Mount Vesuvius, an active volcano, is located nearby and offers stunning views. Other notable attractions in the area include the historic Royal Palace of Naples, the Naples National Archaeological Museum, Castel dell'Ovo, and Underground Naples, which showcases the city's ancient underground tunnels. Naples also serves as a gateway to the picturesque Amalfi Coast, with its stunning coastal towns such as Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi, and to the ancient ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
Board a ferry or hydrofoil from Naples to reach Capri Island, a jewel of the Tyrrhenian Sea characterised by rugged cliffs, crystal-clear turquoise waters, hidden caves, and lush vegetation. One of the island's most famous natural attractions is the Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra), a sea cave renowned for its mesmerising blue light. This unique natural phenomenon is created by sunlight entering the cave through an underwater cavity and reflecting off the pale limestone floor, resulting in a captivating and intense blue illumination throughout the cave interior.
Capri is home to two main towns: Capri Town and Anacapri. Capri Town is the more lively and glamorous of the two, featuring upscale shops, boutiques, restaurants, and bustling piazzas. Anacapri, situated at a higher elevation, offers a more tranquil and authentic atmosphere. Return to Rome in the evening. Overnight in Rome.
