After breakfast, proceed for a full-day private city tour of Muscat with your English-speaking guide/driver.
Visit the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, completed in 2001 and named after the late Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al Said. The mosque has a capacity of over 20,000 worshippers and features stunning architecture and design, including a grand prayer hall, a library, and several courtyards and gardens. Next, explore the Mutrah Souq, a traditional market famous for its lively and bustling atmosphere, and its unique, colourful merchandise — including Omani silverware, textiles, spices, and perfumes.
Visit the world-class Royal Opera House, opened in 2011, which features stunning architecture blending traditional and contemporary elements. The venue hosts a variety of performances including operas, ballets, concerts, and other cultural events. Then see the stately Al Alam Palace, the official palace of the Sultan of Oman, an iconic landmark with its distinctive blue and gold facade, situated between the twin Portuguese forts of Al Jalali and Al Mirani. Both forts were built in the 16th century by the Portuguese and were later restored and renovated by the Omanis. Today they are popular landmarks offering a glimpse into Oman's rich history and culture.
Pass by the Diplomatic Quarter, home to several embassies and diplomatic missions. The area features beautiful landscaping and architecture, along with various shops, restaurants, and other amenities. (Nizwa Fort, Jabreen Castle, Bahla Fort)
After breakfast, proceed on a full-day private excursion to Nizwa, one of Oman's most significant historic cities. Nizwa served as the capital of Oman in the 6th and 7th centuries and played an important role in the country's political and cultural history.
On arrival, visit the formidable Nizwa Fort, a massive fortress built in the 17th century that served as a military stronghold and seat of government for many years. The fort has since been beautifully restored and is open to visitors, allowing exploration of its various sections — including the main tower, the prison, and the mosque. Continue to Jabreen, a historic town known for its beautiful traditional architecture. The centrepiece is Jabreen Castle, a remarkable structure featuring several rooms and courtyards, as well as displays of Omani art, calligraphy, and cultural artefacts.
Also visit the imposing Bahla Fort, one of the oldest and most well-preserved forts in Oman, originally built to protect the town and its inhabitants. The fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is open to visitors, who can explore its tower, mosque, and residential quarters. Return to Muscat in the evening. Overnight in Muscat.

After breakfast, proceed for a thrilling morning Dolphin Watching Trip by Speedboat along the scenic Muscat coastline — one of the most exhilarating experiences Oman has to offer.
In the evening, transfer from the hotel to Marina Bandar Al Rowdha. On arrival, embark on a traditional Dhow Boat for a magical two-hour Sunset Dhow Cruise along Oman's stunning coastline. Handmade wooden dhows — still crafted today by local craftsmen — bear testament to Oman's proud tradition as a great seafaring nation. These iconic vessels once plied the sea routes between Oman, Iran, the Arab Emirates, India, and other neighbouring countries, laden with exotic goods and merchandise. Sinbad the Sailor himself is said to have sailed in them from the coastal town of Sur, where they are still being built today.
Seated on the upper open-air deck, enjoy wonderful views of the coastline and the warm Omani sun as it sets over the Arabian Sea, while sipping refreshments and sampling Arab dates served by the attentive onboard crew. Overnight in Muscat.
