Jerónimos Monastery officially known as Santa Maria de Belém Monastery is magnificent example of Manueline architecture. It was constructed in 16th century and served as religious complex for Monks of Order of Saint Jerome. The monastery is renowned for its intricate stonework, cloisters and tomb of explorer Vasco da Gama Belém Tower also known as Tower of St. Vincent, is a fortified tower was built as a defensive structure and symbol of Portugal's maritime power. The tower features unique blend of architectural styles including Manueline and Moorish influences. Like Jerónimos Monastery, it is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Coach Museum officially known as National Coach Museum is home to one of world's most significant collections of historical carriages and coaches. It is housed in former Royal Riding School in Belém.
