Arrive Kathmandu Airport & after Immigrations & Baggage Collection transfer to check in hotel (Early check in subject to availability). Later proceed to visit Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as Monkey Temple, is one of Nepal's most iconic and sacred sites. Perched atop a hill in Kathmandu Valley, this ancient stupa is a blend of Buddhist and Hindu traditions. Its striking white dome and gilded spire, adorned with all-seeing eyes of Buddha, offer a serene and spiritual atmosphere. The site is named Monkey Temple due to large population of monkeys that inhabit area, believed to be holy. One can climb 365 steps leading to stupa, rewarded with panoramic views of Kathmandu and surrounding valley. The complex also includes numerous shrines, temples and a museum, making it a significant cultural and religious center. Also visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, historic plaza that once served as royal palace complex for Malla kings of Nepal. Temple is an important pilgrimage site, especially during festival of Dashain, when devotees gather to worship and offer sacrifices. Gupteshwor Cave a sacred cave that houses revered Shiva lingam. The cave is a natural marvel with impressive stalactites and stalagmites. A staircase leads down into cave, which is believed to have spiritual significance. The cave is particularly intriguing because it runs beneath Devi’s fall and roaring sound of waterfall can be heard inside. Devi’s Fall known locally as Patale Chhango is a beautiful and powerful waterfall. The water from Phewa Lake flows into an underground tunnel, creating a spectacular and often mysterious sight. According to legend, the waterfall was named after a Swiss visitor named Devi who was swept away by the current, adding to its mystique. Seti River which carves deep gorges and canyons into city's landscape. The river’s milky white water, colored by limestone and minerals it carries, is a distinctive feature. Phewa Lake second-largest lake in Nepal surrounded by lush hills and overlooked by Annapurna mountain range, lake is perfect for boating and relaxation. In the middle of lake sits Tal Barahi Temple, a two-story pagoda temple dedicated to Goddess Barahi.
