The Goturdag volcano in Gobustan is the world’s only continuously erupting volcano; mud squeezing as the specialists put it, has been observed there for many years The Bibi-Heybat Mosque (Azerbaijani: Bibiheybət məscidi) is a historical mosque located in Baku, Azerbaijan. The existing structure of the Bibi-Heybat Mosque was reconstructed in the 1990s. It stands on the site believed to be the burial place of Ukeyma Khanum, a descendant of Prophet Muhammad. The original mosque was built in the 13th century. The mosque is a recreation of the historical mosque with the same name, which was originally constructed by Shirvanshah Farrukhzad II Ibn Ahsitan II. The Bibi-Heybat Mosque includes the tomb of Ukeyma Khanum, who belonged to the sacred family as a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad. It serves as a spiritual center for Muslims in the region. Check out & proceed to visit Nohur Lake fed by underground springs, known for its Crystal-clear water, which is believed to have healing properties. Visit Yeddi Gozel Waterfall located in Tufan Dag Mountains, name Yeddi Gozel means "Seven Beauties" in Azerbaijani and it is named after popular local legend about seven beautiful maidens who would gather at waterfall. Reach Waterfall by taking Cable Car from Tufan Dag Complex, which offers stunning views of surrounding mountains and countryside. The cable car ride is a thrilling experience and takes approximately 15 minutes to reach top. Once reach the top take short Hike to reach Yeddi Gozel Waterfall surrounded by lush greenery and offers refreshing mist in air. The waterfall itself is approximately 70 meters high and is made up of seven smaller waterfalls that flow into each other. Visit Gabala Shooting Club known for it’s State of art facilities and has hosted several international Shooting Competitions including ISSF World Cup. Shooting Club offers variety of shooting disciplines like Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays and has range of shooting fields that cater to both novice and experienced shooters.
